Fine can be imposed as an alternative to imposing other penalty options or as an additional penalty to good behaviour bond. Fine cannot be imposed in circumstances where you have received a section 10 dismissals or conditional release orders.

In NSW, 1 penalty unit equates to $110. A fine cannot exceed 1000 penalty units.

Fines imposed must be paid within 28 days to the Court Registry. However arrangements can be made If you suffer from financial hardship.
